Right place, wrong time...

This seems to be the only "convenient" time i get to ride... Hell of a lightning show, and a whole bunch of rain drops.

HaPpY nEw YeAr!!!

Two wheels or four...

Start it off with a BANG!

My new years resolution is to two wheel it every chance I get, make time for my ol' pals I rarely see, be the best husband and father I can be, and kick that nasty hoarding habit I've been hoarding... That ought to keep me busy for a year...

Familia

If it wasn't for the (good lookin') one on the left, I wouldn't have the two on the right.  Kids to me are like cars... They require a lot of attention and reflect the time and money spent on them. Come to think of it, so are relationships... You only get out what you put in. Raise 'em right, and make a date with the good lookin' one!

1973

1973 Electra Glide

the one on the left

Donald's old hardtail.

Stumbled upon a 1973 FLH. Everything about it sounds just right. Even the price! Shook hands with the owner over the phone. Now all I have to do is come up with the dough. Selling the one on the left and Donald's old hardtail to aquire the FLH. The old K5 used to belong to my dad and has been in the family for 32 years. I never, NEVER, ever thought I'd be parting ways with this old pal of mine. I grew up in that truck and have a shit-ton of memories with that thing. I'l be really sad to part ways with the family truck, but I have plenty of memeories both good and bad. As for Donald's old hardtail, we made some memories too.

From the Deer Lease to Easy Street

A hard days night... or two.

Thanks Allen for the parts 'Burban

Nice dent...

All I had to do was take the door panel off and press it out by hand. That was the easiest thing I've done all week. Add another two wheel drive Blazer to my collection. Should be on the road in about a month... Funds permitting.

Welcome Home!

1978 K5 Blazer.
Picked this up last Sat. This thing is in awesome shape. Even though it started life out as a 4X4, I'll give it the DROP. The axles didn't come with it, the guy was just nice enough to loan them to me so I could get it home.

Long as I can see the light...

If you drive an ol' beater like I do, taking the time to properly adjust the headlights is worth it's weight in gold. Last nights adjustments made tonights drive almost as good as driving in the day light. (Yes, they were that out of adjustment!)

Weather

Hottest day of the year last year and I didn't even break a sweat. It's in the 30's today and I can't even go outside. I HATE cold weather.

Back From The Dead II

Looks like I've got my work cut out for me... Again. Anyone who knows me knows I've built this car, re-built this car, and am building it again. After I complete it this time, it wont leave the shop without full coverage insurance, I mean FULL COVERAGE INSURANCE!

Happy Days

They grow up so fast. Hard to believe he'll be two in February. This lil' dude brings so much joy to my life. My wife is the real unsung hero here... I'm glad that she's my partner in crime helping me raise this monster. These pictures weren't staged. My little buddy is a car guy.

Looks like rain

Looks like a few days of rain are headed our way so I took the trusty ol' girl out for about a 30 mile journey. I have a soft spot in my heart for these old Hondas. Fast, cheap, and easy... Sunday night rides are my favorite.

Out to sea

Never been in this part of the world before.

Really neat hotel. Tiny, but neat. We were greated by the cheerful girl who asked for our I.D. and "kredit kod". Authentic Boston.

So we arrive in Boston and I'm standing back watching as the people look like zoo animals at feeding time when the conveyor starts to turn. After all the "animals get fed", I realize that we are missing a bag. It just so happens to be my bag. Hopefully I'll get it by tomorrow, it's got my everything in it.

Connecting flight in Milwaukee to Boston... This is where my luggage goes back to DFW.

We arrived at DFW a little late compared to the alot early we had alloted for.
Arive at the train station 1:20 ahead of schedule. This is the first leg of our trip. This is where it all started... Late train, then delayed with problems.
